Malls Will Open Here Locally, Local Movie Theater Will Not

Earlier this week, Governor Abbott announced that the stay-at-home orders will be lifted as of today and starting tomorrow, May the 1st, malls, retail stores and movie theaters can open at 25% capacity. Here locally Midland Park Mall and Music City Mall are set to reopen. Music City Mall's hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. M-S and on Sundays from 12 to 6 p.m.Midland Park Mall plans to only open certain entrances in order to keep the occupancy of the mall down. Both malls have made it clear that cleanliness if of the utmost importance and cleaning will take place more frequently and sanitization stations will be available throughout the mall. 

Cinergy announced yesterday, they do not plan to open on Friday.  Per Cinergy, 'we are continuing to refine our reopening strategy and train our staff on new protocols and procedures to ensure that everyone can find their fun and remain safe once again at Cinergy.'
