Yasmin Young talks season 9 of Basketball Wives and more with Jackie Christie.

"Follow the daily lives, drama-filled parties and outrageous fights that unfold between the wives, ex-wives and girlfriends of professional basketball players." ~ VH1

The new season of Basketball Wives is on VH1 every Tuesday at 8 pm. I had a chance to chop it up with Jackie Christie, who has been with the franchise since the beginning. The new season follows the ladies as they adjust to life at the start of the pandemic. We see some familiar faces as well as some new faces. Jackie, who is married to former NBA player Doug Christie, is one of the most outspoken women on the show. Jackie and her former friend Malaysia had a falling out last season. This season we will see if they can repair their friendship.

Jackie is also a hustler. She is a best-selling author, having written a number of books, including No Ordinary Love, Proud to Be a Colored Girl, and In the Land of Sex & Money. During our interview, she also mentioned two new shows she is working on - one is a talk show where she is helping people and the other is a real estate show. She said she just purchased a home in Sacramento that she and her husband will be flipping.

I should have asked Jackie if OG was going to be back this season. She ended last season on bad terms with Evelyn and Shaunie, so there's a chance Shaunie used her power to cut OG. She has been known to get rid of women she personally doesn't like.
