What Is Your Favorite Candy? Texas Favorite And Worst

When it comes to candy at Christmas I think everyone thinks of candy canes but that is actually not the most popular candy for Christmas here in Texas.

When I think of sweet treats at Christmas time my mind doesn't go directly to candy but to more of sweet treats like Texas Trash, fudge, or peanut brittle. When it comes to having Christmas candy around my go-to's are red and green peanut M&M's or bite-size snickers or even Hershey's kisses.

According to the website Food and Wine the top three candies for Christmas in Texas are:

Reese's Cup Minis
Peppermint Bark
Candy Canes

Do people eat peppermint bark by itself? I have always thought you used peppermint bark to make things not just eat it by itself. Candy Canes I get. Who doesn't love a candy cane? As for Reese's Cups, I never would have branded them the number one Christmas candy in Texas.

2. Reindeer Corn

3. cherry cordials ( I think these are the worst but I know a lot people love them)

4. Lifesavers (Remember as a kid you would get the Lifesaver Christmas boxes)

5. Holiday Peeps ( As a kid I loved Peeps but now I think I'll pass, no matter what holiday it is.)

6. Chocolate Oranges ( my mom loves these, I don't know if I have ever had one.
