Don’t Miss Bull Riding and Live Music At The Ector County Coliseum

Showbiz West Texas invites you to the Bull Bash, which features the Josh Abbott Band and team bull riding. The Bull Bash happens on Saturday, August 3rd, at the Ector County Coliseum.

This will be a great night to bring out the entire family.  This will be a team bullriding event. Three teams will be competing: a team from Mexico, a team from Brazil, and a team from America. A winner will be determined by a combined score from each rider. In the event there is a tie there will be a bonus round. to determine the winner.

The Josh Abbott Band will follow the bull riding event with a live concert. Tickets are on sale now. Ticket prices range from $40-$70 and can be purchased HERE! VIP tables are also available by calling  (432) 557-5598. VIP tickets come with 8 tickets, a catered meal, and a cash bar on the floor of the Coliseum.

Josh Abbott formed the band back in 2006 while attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock. In 2007 the Josh Abbott Band released their first single "Taste" which was featured on a 4-song demo ." Their debut album "Scapegoat" was released in 2008.  JAB's sophomore album "She's Like Texas" was released in 2010 and featured the title track "She's Like Texas." That same year Josh Abbott and his bandmates would go on to have their first sold-out show at the world's largest honky tonk, Billy Bob's Texas.

Josh Abbott Band's most recent album was released in January of this year titled, "Somewhere Down The Road." 2024 has been quite the year for the Josh Abbott Band as they made their debut appearance at the Stage Coach Music Festival.
