Cleaning Out the Garage? Killeen’s Annual Event Makes It Easy and Free

Recently, a press release from the City of Killeen stated that the Killeen Public Works Solid Waste Division will be hosting its annual Fall Cleanup Event on October 9 and 10 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The best part? This event is completely free for Killeen residents.

Where Are The Roll-Off Containers Located?

Residents will be able to dispose of extra waste, yard waste, bulk items, and brush at designated drop-off locations throughout the city. Roll-off containers will also be available at several locations and will accept bagged household waste, yard waste, brush, and bulk materials. The designated locations include the Killeen Special Events Center gravel parking lot at 3301 S. W.S. Young Drive, Long Branch Park at 1101 Branch Drive, Conder Park at 81 Conder Street, and the Clear Creek Water Tower at 6520 Clear Creek Road.
