(Arlington, Texas) The testing and commissioning process is finally complete. Tormenta Rampaging Run at Six Flags Over Texas is now ready to deliver a thrilling ride to roller coaster enthusiasts.

The record-breaking giga dive coaster was announced more than a year ago by the Thrill Capital of Texas. Originally scheduled to open on June 26, Tormenta Rampaging Run needed additional testing, and now the thrilling new roller coaster is ready to deliver the ride of a lifetime to park goers beginning Thursday, July 9.

Tormenta Is Finally Ready for Riders

While the ride isn't open to the public yet, Six Flags Over Texas has been allowing season passholders to ride the record-breaking coaster since July 3, and the reviews of this one-of-a-kind coaster are coming in.

The seat configuration for Tormenta Rampaging Run is not like the other coasters at Six Flags Over Texas. Trains for Tormenta feature eight seats across with only three rows. This giga dive coaster features numerous twists, turns, and airtime moments, and depending upon where you sit, riders will undoubtedly experience a different ride sensation on each ride.
