With occupancy levels in restaurants back to 100% in Texas as of today (March 10, 2021), Huddle House is coming to Odessa.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, the Huddle House restaurant is being constructed on East Loop 338 at Highway 191 right next to a Kent Kwik location that is also being constructed.

If you are not familiar with Huddle House, they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner specializing in big house breakfasts, but also including burgers, dinner plates, and salads.

Featured items on the menu are stuffed French toast and blueberry muffin bites, the kids menu features chicken fingers, grilled cheese sandwiches, waffles and pancakes.

There is something for everyone and if you have not been to a Huddle House, it is a good compliment to Denny's and IHOP if you are a fan of both of those.

Huddle House has an app that features online ordering and a rewards program. Customers will receive a free beverage, starter, or side of biscuits and gravy once the restaurant opens if you download the free app.

Huddle House also offers "Waffle Wednesdays" where any customer that spends at least $6 on Wednesdays can get a free waffle.

I have only been to a few Huddle House restaurants in my life, but what I did know was that the food was good and reasonably priced. But of course here in the Midland/Odessa area when a new restaurant opens up, the wait to get in will be an hour if not hours so plan accordingly once the location opens up.
