Gender reveals. Wow. That's all I've got, just wow. I have 3 children of my own and I am so grateful that I did not have them at a time when gender reveals were a thing because I'm telling you it would have just stressed me out! Why? Because I would have done something so simple. Like have someone write the gender on a piece of paper put it in an envelope and open it up in front of friends and family like surprise it's another boy. 

Nothing special, anticlimactic because anything more is too much work. But I have been to many an elaborate gender reveal. People these days go all out and good for them! They should. Do what you want, it's your life, your family.

Fly a plane with pink or blue smoke across the sky. Cut into the cake with pink or blue filling. Put either a pink or blue collar on your little dog and have him run through the crowd and make the announcement. But one thing you should not do for a gender reveal? Involve children.

Kids are so unpredictable. If you want big brother/sister to announce that they have a new sibling on the way, despite rehearsing what they are supposed to do, you can almost guarantee the kid is NOT going to do it!
