Have You Ever Solved a Rubik’s Cube? 40 Years Later, People Are Still Trying!

Ok I honestly thought that at a more 'mature age' I would be able to conquer this.
This year is the 40th anniversary of the Rubik's Cube. I tried and tried as a child to solve the puzzle but to no avail. I had one growing up, I would pick it up, work on it for a bit and throw it against the wall out of frustration. lol I honestly had not seen one in years until this one mysteriously appeared at the radio station. So what do I do? Pick it up and give it a shot and I'll be darned if I still cannot solve it! Why me? It should be so much easier as an adult but I still can't do it.
