One of our favorite things to do during the holidays is getting our fix of holiday movies. Isn't that everyone's favorite? Whether you are watching ELF for the 80th time or introducing your children to it for the 1st time, you can bet that the second you turn on your television this time of year, there will always be a classic Christmas movie on a channel or two.

So we recently asked West Texans what their favorite Christmas movies are and we got some great answers! So many of our favorites as well.

TOP 5 CHRISTMAS MOVIES THAT WEST TEXANS ARE WATCHING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON:

1. Elf-this one is a must every single year. Could anyone but Will Ferrell have pulled off playing Buddy the Elf? I think not.

SANTA!!! I KNOW HIM!

2. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation-2 words, The Griswolds. If you have not watched this movie or don't know The Griswold family, I don't know that we can be friends. This one stays on repeat in my home. Just like the movie poster says,

Yule crack up!

3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas-Cindy Lou Who and the gang have to deal with the grinchiest of Grinches, played by Jim Carrey. Nothing but holiday fun with this one!

4. It's A Wonderful Life-don't hate me! I've never watched this one but I know enough to know that it is at the top of everyone's list and is a Christmas classic hands down.

5. Surviving Christmas-Well looks like I've got my work cut out for me this year! Haven't watched this one either and that is shocking considering it has 1 of my favorites in it, Ben Affleck. Also stars James Gandolfini, Christina Applegate, and the mom from Home Alone, Catherine O'Hara.
