GO PINK!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Everyone is becoming a part of the 'Pink Ribbon Movement.' All across the nation people are supporting the cause by wearing their pink ribbons, sporting pink clothing, jewelry and even having pink put in their hair.

The stylists at Salon Adara in Midland are doing their part to raise money to support research and patient education. Throughout the month of October, you can have pink extensions put in your hair for only $10 and 100%  of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.  Even if you have never been to Salon Adara, now is the time to stop in with your daughters, friends, family and anyone who wants to do their part to help fight this disease! Unfortunately, we all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. Do your part. Schedule your mammograms. Women should begin regular mammograms at age 35, but it's never too early to get yourself checked. Also, remember your monthly breast self-exam.
