Each area is beautiful and has something different to offer.
If you love to fish, San Angelo may be your thing, not too far and you can fish and swim. Some folks love the beach so they hit up Galveston or Corpus. WHICH CITY IS CONSIDERED THE OLDEST TOWN IN TEXAS?
There was the very first place that was settled here and that city is called Presidio Texas. First established in 1535 by Spanish Settlers-the city itself proclaims it's "coming into existence in 1683. It's located right on the Rio Grande river across the United States / Mexico border. As of the 2010 census, the population was 4,426. It is the first official town in the state, making it the oldest place in the state of Texas.
