Did You Know Midland, Texas Is Just One Of Many Midland’s?
I have only ever heard of 2 Midlands in my entire life. Midland Texas, and Midland Michigan, the latter simply because there is a radio station there that B93 gets confused for from time to time. Every so often we get messages from the listeners of the Midland, MI radio station and we have to say, 'umm I think you have the wrong B.' lol
But in all honesty, I had no idea there were so many more areas named Midland! Townships, Villages, Cities... There are 18! Honorary mentions going to "Midlands Of South Carolina" because it's the entire central region of the state--and "Midoil, California"--which changed its name from Midland to Midoil.
