With COVID-19 cases increasing in the Basin, the City of Odessa has given $1 million of the money from the state CARES Act to provide testing as well as flu shots.

According to CBS 7, City of Odessa has made an agreement with Medical Center Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Center to proved free testing for COVID-19 along with free flu shots.

“The City of Odessa is proud to partner with both Medical Center Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Center to provide COVID-19 testing and flu shots for our community. Partnership such as this allow us all to provide excellent services to the citizens we serve.” said City Manager for the City of Odessa, Michael Marrero.

The tests and flu shots will be at the ORMC Community Clinic and two MCH Urgent Care facilities.

The program is running now till December 31, 2020.
