So--do you have to be a "foodie" to like to eat out? What is the true definition of a Foodie, anyway? Are there 'qualifications' that make you an "expert" when it comes to ranking eating establishments? A "Foodie" is defined as: "a person with a particular interest in food; a gourmet", according to dictionary.com. So then-aren't we ALL foodies? We all love to eat of course. I think that qualifies us.

Which brings me to this: You can't go to a restaurant, whether it's dine in, carry out or drive thru--at really ANY given time of the day in Midland-Odessa and NOT run into a line or some kind of wait. Doesn't matter what day of the week it is, either. We all love to eat out here. I always scratch my head whenever I'm in line at the grocery store and there are folks ahead of me creating a wait, because with the large lines at these eating establishments here you'd think NO ONE cooked at home.

Since we all love to eat out so much here-I wondered what, in your opinion, are THE best restaurants here--and what makes them the best? Is it a particular dish, a particular beverage or specialty cocktail? Is it the variety on the menu? The ambiance once you're seated? The service? The prices? All of the above? None of the above? Drop us a line HERE or call in to the show at 432-563-8-923 and let's get a list going of the top 5 restaurants in the Permian. Then we'll put a poll up and have you vote to see which is the #1 place to go out to eat in West Texas!
