8th Annual Bustin’ For Badges Event Taking Place This Month

Always 'backin the blue' an annual event that has become a staple here in West Texas is coming up later this month. Bustin' for Badges annual clay shoot fundraiser will be taking place on Thursday April 15th and Friday April 16th. The clay shoot will take place at Windwalker Farms Sporting Clays 2551 County Road C2801 in Stanton. 

Bustin' for Badges is in its 8th year and is an annual event that benefits local law enforcement, Odessa PD, Midland PD, Ector and Midland County Sheriff's Offices to help pay for equipment that is needed.

Rafflet tickets are also currently being sold for $20 a piece or 6 for $100. The prizes are as follows:

• Polaris Ranger 500 (over $9,000 value)
• Bergara Premier 6.5 Creedmoor Series Rifle (over $1,500 value)
• Primo Oval LG 300 Ceramic Charcoal Grill (over $1,000 value)
