Texas is home to another Guinness World Record and it belongs to a Great Dane here in Texas. Zeus is so tall that he uses the kitchen sink as his 'water bowl.' Zeus stands at 3 feet and 5.18 inches tall. The biggest problem is keeping Zeus away from the food left on the counters in the kitchen. I mean, he is that book!  The biggest dog ever was also a Great Dane that was 44 inches and died back in 2014 at the age of 5!

Zeus's mom says he is an extremely stubborn pup and also very laid back at the same time.  He is actually a really good dog. The only time that he is really naughty is when there is food on the counter and when he is stealing the baby's pacifier. The most common thing that the family hears is 'that dog is as big as a horse.'

Great Danes are generally well disposed toward other dogs and familiar humans. They are known as gentle giants.  They usually do not exhibit extreme aggressiveness  The Great Dane is a very gentle and loving animal and with the proper care and training is great around children, especially when being raised with them.

 

Don't forget about the new law that affects your fur baby. The new law requires dogs to have protection from the elements and a shelter that allows them enough room to turn around and lie down fully.
