Travis Scott and Frank Ocean to Headline 2020 Coachella Festival: Report
The 2020 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is still over four months away but the biggest acts have reportedly been announced. The renowned festival will feature Travis Scott, Frank Ocean and rock band Rage Against the Machine as headlining acts.
2020 Coachella is set to take place from Friday, April 10, 2020 through Sunday, April 19, 2020 in Indio, Calif. When it does, La Flame, Frank and RATM will each close out a night, reports U.S. Magazine on Friday (Dec. 20).
Neither hip-hop artist is a stranger to the Coachella stage. Travis performed at the mega showcase in 2017. That is also the year he and Kylie Jenner first publicized their relationship. Frank Ocean performed at Coachella in 2012, a few months prior to the release of his critically-acclaimed debut album Channel Orange.
Travis has been doing his thing on the touring circuit in 2019, and even had his Astroworld Festival take place in November featuring Migos, Marilyn Manson, Pharrell, Rosalía, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Gucci Mane, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Houston All Stars, Young Dolph, Key Glock, Sheck Wes, Pop Smoke, Don Toliver and Tay Keith.
Frank Ocean has been his normal reclusive self this year, but he did offer up a handful of new singles toward the end of the year leaving fans believing a new album is on the way.
The 2018 Coachella Fest featured headlining acts Eminem, Beyonce and The Weeknd. Post Malone, Tyler, The Creator, Migos, Cardi B, French Montana, 6lack, Kamaiyah, DeJ Loaf, Princess Nokia, Noname, Jidenna and Shady Records' signees Westside Gunn and Conway also performed.
