Trae Tha Truth Welcomes Baby Girl

Trae Tha Truth is the proud father of a baby girl.

The Houston MC's daughter was born on Saturday (July 28). He celebrated the big day by making the announcement on social media, posting a cartoon version of himself holding a sign with his daughter's name and birth date, along with the caption, "She Has Arrived.....'Truth Izabella Imani Thompson' 7/28/18 ... Ya’ll Welcome 'Baby Truth.'"

Trae also posted a photo from the delivery room of him kidding with the doctor who delivered his seed. "Me Tellin The Doctor..... 'So You Just Gone Let Her Grab The Baby First Before Me'.... 😂😭 #BabyTruth," he captioned the photo.

Trae first notified fans of his coming child back in February, announcing on Instagram, "Baby Alert!! I've Just Been Notified..ISSA GIRL 😳😳...Lord Help Me...#AintNoBoyfriend #ImmaCryInTheCar #SheMustNotKnowWhoHerDaddyIs #JesusGrabTheWheel #KingTruthHavinADaughter #iishJustGotReal 👀🙏🏿😂😭."

The H-Town luminary has been enjoying a productive year. In March, he put out his Hometown Hero album which features cameos from T.I., Boosie BadAzz, Young Thug and more. He followed that up with the 48 Hours Later project last month. In April, he was honored by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at a Houston Astros game.

He's also continued his charity efforts. Last week, he joined forces with StockX to help raise funds for a special charity campaign. He also put on a free concert, gave out school supplies and had free HIV testing at his recent 2018 Trae Day.
