Whether you listen to the radio, watch TV or just love you some T.I., chances are you couldn't escape the rapper's Young Thug-assisted hit song "About the Money" last year. As a result of the ubiquitous effort, fans jumped at the chance to crown Tip the king in the category of Hip-Hop Song of the Year in the 2015 The Boombox Fan Choice Awards.

The paper-chasing ode produced by London on da Track features the southern MC serving a warning to those dealing with him on any level -- business or personal. "If it ain't about the money / Don't be blowin' me up, n---- I ain't gettin' up / If it ain't about the money / Ain't no use in you ringin' my line, stop wastin' my time," he raps.

Thanks to Thugger, one of the game's hottest rappers at the moment, the song is treated to some tap star flair. "Bustin' out the bando / A n---- jewelry real metal like a can opener / I went from rags to riches to a feature with Tip / I went from Smart Car to a bitch with some smart lips," the Atlanta native spits.

Competing against 29 other tracks, T.I.'s tune, appearing on his ninth studio album, Paperwork, earned over 22 percent of the vote for the win. Songs from iLoveMakonnen ("Tuesday"), Dej Loaf ("Try Me"), Bobby Shmurda ("Hot N----") and YG ("Who Do You Love"), among others, were also featured in the category.

Take a look at the percentage breakdown in the Hip-Hop Song of the Year category below to see how T.I. fared compared to the rest.
