Nicki Minaj's mom cannot wait for her daughter to have children.

As previously reported, the rapper revealed she married boyfriend Kenneth Petty and announced the happy news via Instagram earlier this month. She shared a video that showed wedding accessories like "Mrs." and "Mr." mugs and caps that read "bride" and "groom" alongside the caption: "Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10.21.19."

Now, Carol Maraj has publicly spoken out about her daughter’s recent nuptials for the first time. She congratulated Minaj and her new son-in-law on their marriage and hinted that she’s ready for some grandchildren.

“I’m very happy that she got married,” she told The Shade Room. “Her biological clock is ticking and it’s about time she got married and gave me some grandchildren. So I’m very happy.”

The "Anaconda" hitmaker has actually been hinting at having a baby to fans for a while now. In fact, last month she even sent fans into a frenzy when she announced her plans to retire so she could start a family with her husband.

"I've decided to retire & have my family," she wrote on Twitter at the time. "I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain't nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE."

She later deleted the tweet and apologized for being so "abrupt" and "insensitive," adding, "I'm still right here. Still madly in love with you guys & you know that. In hindsight, this should've been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything."
