Metro Boomin Appears on Mysterious Missing Billboards in New York and Atlanta
Where in the world has Metro Boomin gone off to? That's a question fans have asked themselves after the platinum-certified producer appeared on some mysterious missing billboards in New York City and Atlanta yesterday (Oct. 25).
The billboards includes a rundown of Lil Metro's physical characteristics and an image of the producer crouching down while surrounded by boomboxes.
"Have you seen this man? All heroes don't wear capes," reads one part of the billboard, which says that Metro went missing on Dec. 23, 2017.
It's unclear what the above date actually means in the grand scheme of things, but December 2017 was the last time Metro dropped off a project. That one goes by the name of Double or Nothing, and it's an effort he created alongside Big Sean.
These billboards arrive months after Metro Boomin claimed that he was retiring from the life of a superstar producer. He made his "revelation" when he added, "Retired record producer/DJ" to his Instagram bio back in April. A short while later Metro seemingly retired, Gucci Mane posted an IG post that said he paid Metro $1 million to come out of retirement.
Could these billboards mean that Metro is ready to end his musical drought? We'll have to wait and see.
