Meow Wolf’s Mind-Blowing Experience Is Coming To Texas in 2023, But Where?
Alright Texas, you've never seen anything quite like this. Meow Wolf, the immersive arts and entertainment complex founded in Santa Fe in 2008, is coming to Texas in 2023.
The New Mexico-based company has recently announced its two newest locations, both in Texas. Before too long you'll be able to round up the whole family and experience Meow Wolf in both Grapevine and Houston.
Meow Wolf Grapevine will be moving into the Grapevine Mills shopping center in 2023. In Houston, the location will be installed in the Fifth Ward, a growing arts and cultural area, sometime in 2024. This Texan cannot wait. My family often travels to Santa Fe to immerse themselves in the arts, and Meow Wolf is something you must experience firsthand.

Meow Wolf, Santa Fe
Until the new locations have opened, Meow Wolf in Santa Fe is your best bet. It's about seven hours in the car from Abilene but it's well worth the drive. Plan on staying for a couple of days. Nearly three million dollars were used to transform an old bowling alley into an immersive arts explosion. You'll definitely want to check out the featured attraction, House of Eternal Return.
Meow Wolf, Denver
If you're up for a longer road trip, Meow Wolf Denver is another site to discover, specializing in a host of attractions. Boasting 90,000 square feet of arts and entertainment, this is the largest installation. Architecture, photography, sculpture, painting - it's all there.
Meow Wolf, Las Vegas
In 2018, Meow Wolf opened its Las Vegas location. This 52,000-square-foot complex is called Area 15 and features the Omega Mart, a multisensory grocery store that blends storytelling, technical magic, and commerce.
It won't be long, Texas. With Meow Wolf's newest installations, you'll soon have another reason to add Grapevine and Houston to your list of vacation destinations. If you've never experienced Meow Wolf, take my advice and go. You'll love it. Especially if you have kids. Take them and watch their faces light up. Who knows, you may have more fun than they do.
