Members Only Perform in Memory of XXXTentacion at 2018 Rolling Loud Bay Area
XXXTentacion may be gone but his name won't soon be forgotten if his family, friends and fans have anything to do with it. The first day of the 2018 Rolling Loud Festival in the Bay Area went down on Saturday (Sept. 15) and featured the late rapper's Members Only clique putting on a rousing performance in his memory.
Members Only rappers Craig Xen, Tankhead666, Flyboy Tarantino, Bass Santana, Kid Trunks, Cooliecut and Robb Bank$ put on for their bro via the Dryp Stage during the opening afternoon of the showcase. By that time, it was already a sea of fans swarming in front of the stage. That sea turned into a wave of undulating bodies as the crew paid tribute with an ultra lit rendition of Ski Mask The Slump God's "Take a Step Back" track featuring XXX. The scene looks insane as the group bounced around onstage feeding off the eardrum-blowing soundtrack and the turnt fans.
A more somber moment came when the group was clearly emotional during the playing of XXX's "Jocelyn Flores." They later brought out a custom print with XXX's image on it, and showed it to the crowd. Members Only returned to the stage later in the day during Ski Mask The Slump God's set for another round.
The first day of the festival also featured performances from Wiz Khalifa, Gucci Mane, Kevin Gates, Pusha-T, Jaden Smith and more. Lil Uzi Vert, Joey Bada$$, Playboi Carti and others are set to perform on Sunday (Sept. 16). The entire thing is being streamed live.
