Lil Kim is back! The Queen Bee announced new music via her Twitter account, along with a mixtape cover and release date.

The legendary rapper dropped a few new tracks over the last couple of months, including the "Mine" single with Kevin Gates, a remix of Desiigner's "Panda" and a remix of Drake's "Summer Sixteen."

Kim previously promised a new album on Hot 97 last December, stating she was "working on a new album for next year.” So this mixtape is likely just a warm up for what's to come from the Brooklyn native later in 2016.

It's been a long time coming for a new full project. Her last mixtape, Hard Core 2k14 was released two years ago; and her last studio album, The Naked Truth, was released in 2007. Last month, she made an appearance in Diddy's "Auction" video, and is expected to participate in his announced "Bad Boy Reunion Tour" later this year. In the meantime, she's still also intent on fending off gossip blogs and haters.

Since Lil Kim made the announcement, fans are ecstatic. "Queen Bee Nation" has been highly anticipating the project via social media all week and Kim showed her gratitude last night by retweeting some of the most entertaining comments from exuberant fans.
