Kanye West is reportedly looking to end his feud with JAY-Z. If we are to believe TMZ, Yeezy has reached out to Hov’s camp to meet so they can officially squash their beef.

An insider has told the outlet that ‘Ye asked for a face-to-face with JAY to settle their differences. The source said that a reconciliation is in the works.

Hopefully, this story is true. Both men have a rich history together that have pushed the evolution of hip-hop culture forward. We don’t want to see their friendship go to naught over a petty disagreement.

During his interview on the Rap Radar podcast with Elliott Wilson and Brian ‘B.Dot’ Miller, JAY-Z discussed his fractured friendship with Kanye. The Roc Nation mogul mentioned 'Ye in the lyrics of “Kill JAY-Z,” but JAY explained that Kanye mentioning his family during his heated onstage rant last year in Sacramento, Calif., is what exacerbated the issues between them.

“But the whole point is ‘You got hurt because this person was talking about you on a stage,” Hov said. "But what really hurt me was, you can’t bring my kids and my wife into it. Kanye’s my little brother. He’s talked about me 100 times. He made a song called 'Big Brother.' We’ve gotten past bigger issues. But you brought my family into it. Now it’s a problem with me. That’s a real, real problem. And he knows it’s a problem.”

Kanye and JAY are also embroiled in a financial dispute over Yeezy's Tidal deal but according to the insider, this is not a big issue to them. What is at the heart of their discord is their estranged relationship. The Tidal dispute will be hashed out eventually said the source.

Reps for Kanye West and JAY-Z had no comment on the matter.
