Man Steals Thousands of Dollars Worth of Supplies from Wichita Falls Business

Come on man, you steal small stuff like pens and paper clips. Not an entire pallet worth of goods!

A big employer here in Wichita Falls is Howmet Aerospace Carriers. They help make parts for jet engines. Well it looks like over the past few months they have been investigating some missing materials. Turns out an entire shipment of end mills went missing back in February.

So an end mill is sort of like a drill bit, but unlike a drill bit. It allows you to cut sideways and make complex 3D shapes. Now if a dozen of these went missing, maybe no one would notice. Several THOUSAND of these things missing, someone is going to be looking around for them. Looks like Howmet called the Wichita Falls Police Department this week believing one of their employees was responsible for the theft.

Looks like Johnny Buck of Burkburnett had come into Bell Processing with thousands upon thousands of end mills for processing. Johnny claimed he won the end mills in a game of poker. Ahhh yes, the classic I have no money to gamble, but all these end mills will suffice. Turns out the manager of Bell Processing reached out to Howmet about the end mills since he assumed they were stolen. His suspicions were correct.

Johnny Buck was charged with theft over $30,000 and under $150,000. He has since bailed out on a 20,000 bond. Read more on Johnny's arrest here.
