Texas Favorite Blue Bell Creameries Just Dropped a Honey Twist on a Classic
A new Blue Bell flavor drop is always cause for celebration around these parts. And let me tell you, it’s been a while since there has been a new flavor that I’ve been more excited about.
There aren’t too many Blue Bell flavors I don’t love, but my all-time favorite is Cookies ‘n Cream – it has been since I was a kid. That said, you can’t go wrong with good old-fashioned Homemade Vanilla. And they just upped the ante by adding honey to it. Are you kidding me? I’m just surprised it took so long for someone to have the idea.

In a press release, the beloved Texas creamery announced its new Honey Vanilla flavor, which is in stores today (and yes, I asked my wife to pick up a pint while she’s at the grocery store later). Carl Breed, Blue Bell vice president, sales & marketing, describes the flavor as simple:
Honey Vanilla is for those who love simple flavors done right. The rich, creamy ice cream texture blends perfectly with the honey’s mild sweetness. Honey vanilla was created to enjoy on its own, but it also pairs well with desserts like cookies, cakes and brownies.
I can see how it will pair well with other desserts; however, I plan on eating it straight out of the carton as soon as I get my hands on a pint.
