Why Texans Love a Good Hot Dog

It’s so easy for some people to hate on hot dogs, but personally I am a big fan. They are delicious, and great for a quick bite when you’re working on other things. We are fortunate to have lots of great spots to grab a quick dog, including the always amazing Costco hot dog for only $1.50. But Costco is not exactly a gas station.

The Report Behind the Best Hot Dog Pick

It’s fantastic to hear that a report was done by Volvo Cars Daytona Beach to identify the best gas station hot dog in all 50 states. Although there was some confusion around the results published for Texas.

According to the report, the best gas station hot dog comes from the 7-Eleven location on Commerce Street in Dallas, Texas. The problem with that is there are two 7-Eleven locations on Commerce Street. One is located at 3435 Commerce Street and the other at 1295 Commerce Street.

The only logical way to figure out the best is to try both and come to your own conclusion.
