8 Texas FFA State Officers Chart Futures At Texas A&M, Including Huntington Grad
The 2026-2027 Texas FFA state officer team is made up of 12 young men and women from across the state. 8 of those have chosen Texas A&M University for their education, with six beginning classes this fall and two coming to campus after their year of statewide leadership and service. One of those who is heading to Aggieland is a Class of 2026 graduate from Huntington High School.
Getting To Know Logan Tucker
Tucker, a first-generation Aggie from Huntington, joined FFA his freshman year. He was never directly involved in farming and ranching growing up, but the more he learned about FFA, the more his passion grew for agriculture. He took part in numerous competitions, including chapter conducting, creed speaking, livestock judging, dairy cattle judging, and agricultural communications. Tucker was elected Huntington FFA Chapter president, McGee Bend District president, and Area IX president. Tucker is pursuing a degree in agribusiness and plans to get involved in leadership and Christian organizations on campus. After graduation, he hopes to start his own agricultural operation while pursuing a career in policy or law.
A Look At The Other Texas A&M Bound Officers
Along with Tucker, the other FFA Officers that will be attending Texas A&M include Katelyn Krenek (New Ulm), Colt Nelson (Woodson), Tatum Braden (Garden City), Trevor Shaw (Klein), Gunner Rodgers (Cookville), John Yarbrough (Midlothian), and Milam Henry (Corpus Christi). These officers will represent Texas FFA’s more than 180,000 members across the state throughout the year. As state officers, they will spend the year traveling across Texas, leading workshops, speaking at conferences and events, and connecting with FFA members in their communities.
