Actor Idris Elba may not be playing James Bond in an upcoming movie, but the British film star is open to collaborating with A$AP Rocky in music or acting.

Elba, who also DJs, spoke with Beats 1 radio on Tuesday (Aug. 28) about his relationship with Rocky, praising the Testing rapper. "I love A$AP, he's a good soul," the actor said. While Elba would like to work with Flacko on music, he says Rocky is looking to do some acting.

"And every time we meet each other we're like, 'Let's work.' Not necessarily music. He wants to act, he does act, I want to do music," Elba said. "So we just collaborate and we nearly made it happen... It hasn't happened. Skepta is a good friend also, and they connect. So we're just in a circle where there's a possibility."

Although they haven't officially begun working on any type of collaboration, Elba says it's possible. "There's no 'nos' in this game," he said. "I think what's happening with artists [is] people are reaching out in different genres and going, 'Hey.'" Plus, the two share a mutual friend in producer and engineer Hector Delgado.

While fans wait for the Rocky and Elba collab, Flacko recently linked up with fellow A$AP Mob member A$AP Ant for the new track "Mario Cart." The record finds the two rapping over a Frans and A.R.-produced beat.
