Ellie Goulding took "edgy" to a whole other level on the 2013 MTV VMAs red carpet! The singer donned a blush gown -- covered in spikes! Keeping in theme with her dress, Ellie wore her hair loose and a little roughed up.

Ellie also kept her makeup simple, opting for a subtle smokey eye.

She topped off this dramatic (and slightly dangerous!) gown with matching suede heels.
