A robbery took place at a local Stripes on Saturday, May 14th where the suspects appeared to be intoxicated.

KAMC News reports that Lubbock police responded to the Stripes at 403 Avenue Q at around 7 a.m. An employee said that two suspects entered the business while a third stayed outside in a vehicle.

One of the suspects allegedly took merchandise and tried to leave without paying, and when confronted the suspect showed a gun. The two suspects then left the store and got into the car before driving northbound on Avenue Q.

Apparently the suspects were "laughing" the entire time they were in the store. The employee told police they appeared to be intoxicated. Later, the manager pulled up security camera footage, which portrayed the first suspect stumbling inside. On video, the two suspects can be seen leaving the gas station without paying for the merchandise they picked up.

The identities of the suspects in question have not yet been determined. No arrests have been made.
