DaBaby's seriously come up over the last year. He's come so far, in fact, that he apparently charges six figures for a feature verse.

In an L.A. Leakers interview that was uploaded on Thursday (Sept. 26), the 2019 XXL Freshman reflected on his rapid rise in the rap game in just only a year. With the success of his first album, Baby on Baby, and his hit single, “Suge,” the rapper acknowledged that his prices for features have gone way up.

"It's six digits," DaBaby told hosts for the Power 106 radio station's program. "God is great. It's six of 'em. It's six digits at least."

When DJ Sourmilk asked him if people get offended by his fee, the North Carolina rapper replied that he doesn’t care. “I don’t give a fuck if they get offended or not because I use to pay to play,” he said. “You just gotta respect the game, man.”

Before revealing his feature price, DaBaby said that he had to pay to play when he was coming up in the rap game. He recalled paying rappers Lil Baby and Boosie Badazz a substantial fee for guest verses. For him, it’s the nature of the rap industry.

"This is the most sought after occupation in the world," he stated. "It’s a blessing... any way I can help impact the game and change the narrative I'm all for it."
