It is unfreakin' believable that there is a Tech game this weekend.

I've said it a million times, the thing I love about Texas Tech Football is the vibe. It's not even about the game for me, it's everything surrounding it. I love the pageantry, the energy of people picking up snacks in the supermarket, the barbeque smoke wafting through the air, and all of the unity of our town lining up behind the Red Raiders.

If you're a fan of the game, you probably want the right look. I would suggest FMX listeners wear their In This Moment concert tees, but you MIGHT want to do a little red and black, or something to support the team.

I popped over the website and Facebook to see what's hot at The Matador (since they're the "official game day retailers") to see what's hot, and I'm all smiles. I don't think we've had this kind of creativity since Kliff was signing off on the designs.  I will also say that Advanced Graphix is our shirt place and they do really cool work on heavy duty shirts so they'll last.

One more thing, if you don't know what the cactus thing is all about, here it is in a nutshell, a fella from another school was trying to keep players from coming to, or being jealous of Texas Tech by calling our area a "desert". We may be dry, but we're no desert and thus the "cactus" thing trended on Twitter and is now "a thing" here in the Hub City.
