We know Cardi B isn't a fan of drama, but now she confirms that her beef with Nicki Minaj just isn't good for business.

On Sunday (Dec. 9), CBS This Morning debuted an exclusive interview with the "Money" rapper following her nomination for five Grammy awards. During the interview, she reflects on her achievements on the Billboard charts with songs "Bodak Yellow," "I Like It" with J Balvin and Bad Bunny and her collaboration with Maroon 5, "Girls Like You."

Towards the end of the segment, Cardi B opens up about her beef with Nicki Minaj, which went from viral shots to a real-life melee in New York City. "I think it's bad for business," Cardi said about her fight with Nicki. "You know a lot of people like to say all publicity is good publicity but to me it's not because that takes away people paying attention to your craft. It makes people not even care about your craft. They just want to see drama."

Back in September, the Queen rapper and the Bronx native were reportedly involved in a heated exchange at New York City's Plaza Hotel during Harper’s Bazaar Icons party for 2018 New York Fashion Week that evolved into a brawl. In several videos of the incident, Cardi i shown hurling a shoe towards Nicki's direction. During the chaotic scene, Cardi also yelled at Nicki for supposedly liking a negative social media comment regarding Cardi and Offset's daughter Kulture.

Not only did CBS bring up her drama with Nicki, but they also mentioned her split from Offset and her alleged strip club brawl with two bartenders, which resulted in three misdemeanor charges for assault and reckless endangerment. However, the interview was filmed prior to Cardi publicly announcing her split with Offset so no questions regarding their split were asked. Although she avoided arrest by showing up to court in the case of the strip club brawl, Cardi remains unapologetic about every choice she makes.

"It's unnecessary," Cardi said when asked if she was embarrassed by the recent drama surrounding her name. "But am I embarrassed by anything I do? No."
