After Cardi B said her piece about Jussie Smollett's legal turmoil, it's no surprise that 50 Cent would follow up with how he feels about the situation by posting a funny meme. After the news broke that the Empire actor was indicted for allegedly filing a false police report in Chicago, the Queens rapper hit up his Instagram account last night (Feb. 20) to rescind his support by sharing a meme of Smollett that mocks the actor's claim that he's the "gay Tupac."

"It’s 2019 people, things are a little different now," 50 said in his Instagram caption. "Commander Emanuel Gonzalez would say,if you see him shoot him on sight.

The meme features the cover of 'Pac's All Eyez on Me LP with Jussie's face photoshopped over the late rapper's emotionless mean mug with the words "Gay 2Pac" replacing the album title. 50's meme stems from Smollett's assertion that he's the "gay Tupac" after he claimed to have survived a racist, homophobic attack from MAGA supporters. During his first performance after he was released from the hospital in Chicago, Smollett addressed the crowd and rehashed his recovery, which he likened to 'Pac's life.

"I was bruised but my ribs were not cracked. They were not broken. I went to the doctor immediately," he said. "I was not hospitalized. Both my doctors in L.A. and Chicago cleared me to perform but said to take care, obviously and, above all, I fought the fuck back. I'm the gay Tupac."

Although the meme looks comical, the root of 50's caption is not. Earlier this week, the G-Unit founder discovered details about the New York Police Department's investigation into Commander Emanuel Gonzalez, who reportedly threatened Fif's life by allegedly instructing officers in his precinct to shoot the rapper on sight. Since then, 50 claims things haven't been the same.

“I’m afraid for my life, I haven’t been able to sleep since I heard of this," 50 Cent said. "The cops never notified me of the threat. I’m closing all my business in New York. I may have to sue the city.”
