You want me to do what….?

After a recent experience at home I realized, there are some things that men do that I'm glad I don't have to! But I definitely think that goes both ways. There are things that women do that men don't want to mess with. I'm talking about things around the home or things you do for your loved ones.

Let me give you an example...Making dinner the other night I was making my hubby's fave jalapeno poppers. So I asked if he could help me by slicing them in half and removing the seeds. He obliged but after about the 5th or so jalapeno, he tells me his back hurts, he's getting tired of messing with the peppers and proceeded to ask me to get him a chair so he could sit down and finish!!!! I'm like dude there are a dozen peppers there! Are you kidding me? Welcome to my world. I make an entire meal for the family with no complaints. To this day I give him a hard time and yes, I did warn him I would call him out in the future.

Meals, laundry, being soccer mom, cleaning, PTA all things men can do but don't necessarily want to and at the same time mowing the lawn, changing the oil or a flat on a vehicle, fixing a leak somewhere in the house anything that involves getting dirty and sweaty that men do, I'm out! It's all about working together right? After that incident in our home I think we both have a little more respect for each other and the hard work that we both put into home and family on a daily basis.
