Listen to this, three different things happened over the weekend that actually restored my faith in people in an otherwise crazy world we live in. Let me explain....

It started on Friday when a good friend of B93 called us early in the morning to let us know she wanted to treat us to some Starbucks. Heck yeah! Usually we're the ones being asked for 'free stuff' so this was a nice surprise. When she stopped by the radio station, she told us the story of how she went through the drive-thru and when it was her turn to pay at the window was told that the car in front of her had paid for her order. Sweet! Pay it forward....

Then over the weekend I made a trip to the mall and was behind a car that had stalled for whatever reason in the middle of one of the rows. A couple of guys about to do some shopping took the time to push the poor woman out of the road and as they were doing so, several more men stepped in to help. It's good to know in times of distress, there are still people in this world willing to help their neighbor.

And finally, eating at a local restaurant the other night, my 6 year old does what every parent tells them NOT to do....he left his IPod behind. When we finally realized what happened, I drove to the restaurant immediately, fingers crossed, that someone had not stolen it. I walk in frantic and our waiter knew immediately what I was back for, handed it over saying he found it when he cleaned our table off. Whew! Thank goodness for honest people. He also told me a gentleman that was there the same time we were left his WALLET behind, came back for it, and gave him a $20 tip for returning it. I told him, honesty is always the best policy, thank you very much!
Three feel good stories to restore my faith in humanity. Has anything happened to you recently that made you think, wow, there are still good people left in this world.
