Things Kids Say! Check Out What My Son Said Recently To Put Me In Check

How many times in your lifetime have you encountered someone who hurled an insult at you and you think, 'whatevs, don't care what you think.' I feel that way most of the time, until the person behind the insult is my child!

We have a 7 year old son, Trace who is quite the character! While having dinner one night recently he says to me, 'mom, didn't you used to do Zumba in my room?' (I have Zumba videos that I exercise with on the Wii, which is in his room.) To which I reply, 'yes, but I haven't done it an awhile, why?' Him:'Well you need to start again because you're getting fat!' Are you kidding me right now? Did my kid just insult me? What does a 7 year old know about fat? I swear that kid will give me gray soon! Brutal, but honest. Nothing like a 'dig' from your middle child to get you motivated to start exercising again! lol
