This sight is marvelous in my opinion! Even better because it is in my hometown. Andrews, TX is getting a Huddle House! I see you MVP platter, waffles, pancakes, Huddleburgers and everything in between. So here's the thing, there are fewer than 20 Huddle House locations in Texas and Andrews got 1 of them!

Stop it right now! Stop the presses! Is this true, because if it's not my little Tex-Mex heart can't take it! Let me tell you right now anytime I leave town and go to a bigger city that has this restaurant, it is my first stop. Mr. Iglesias and I loooooove this place and there is a 'rumor' we are getting one in the 432. But that rumor may have just been confirmed...

I sometimes wish I could hit up a restaurant a day every single day until I visit every last one here in the 432 just to give them all my business but sometimes that is just not possible. Mainly because I don't eat out all that much, it could potentially get expensive and also because I am a creature of habit. I literally eat at the same places, when I do eat out, over and over again.

Happy Flashback Friday peeps! I cannot believe that at the time this happened, I neglected to tell you about it. So here's the thing, I had an experience the other day at a local restaurant that I wish I would have handled differently. Does anyone else think that way? Once you have left, it's a hindsight 20/20 situation. lol This is one for you to help me out, a what would you do?

My significant other and I were out to lunch the other day and our meal was pretty messy to say the least. He asked me, 'would this have been a deal breaker for you if this was our 1st date?' lol We were eating some yummy but MESSY seafood. Check out his hands!

Now that I'm out and about alot more, hitting up grocery stores, department stores, restaurants, I've noticed something about some restaurants. Not all of them are open for dine in. What the heck? I tried to take my kids for pizza one day last week and discovered Pizza Hut was not open for us to eat there and I believe that goes for most of them.

Ummm why didn't anyone warn me? I actually ventured out this week to one of my favorite places to eat in the Permian Basin, for my favorite meal and lo and behold, it was not available! I asked the waitress, 'are you for real? That dish is the only reason I came here.' Poor girl was probably like yeah get over it lady, you gonna eat or not? lol (I wasn't rude and I know it is something out of her

So this past Friday, May the 1st, was the day the stay-at-home orders were lifted and restaurants, malls and movie theaters were given the green light to open back up here in Texas. We could leave our homes to try to 'get back to normal' slowly but surely.

I seriously think I need to do a weekly blog titled, 'what the heck is it going to be?' It seems that as you drive around the 4-3-2 these days, there is construction on something new everywhere you turn. I stopped in to Saltgrass off of 191 to grab a bite the other day and noticed something new being built in the lot right next door...
