One of our favorite things to do this time of year is drive around with Christmas carols playing, drinking hot cocoa and look at Christmas lights. If you have not yet done this with your family this year, I have a couple of places to suggest, some are a short drive to small towns in the area but well worth it especially if you are new to the area.

This time of year, we are all looking for things to do with our families to ring in the holidays. Among the many things many of us have to be thankful for this year, is a warm meal that we are all currently busy shopping and prepping for. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle, we tend to forget that not everyone will be spending time with family and friends, much less have that full Thanksgiving spread.

When I was younger, some of my best memories were piling on the back of a trailer (or trailers) that someone from my church lent us to ride through the streets of my hometown to sing Christmas carols.

In the beginning of 2020, we were super excited to be a part of the grand opening of Raising Cane's in Midland. Up to that point, the only time I was able to get my chicken fingers and 'cane sauce' fix was in Lubbock. And trust, anytime I made my way up North, I paid their Raising Cane's a visit and it never disappointed.

I love to roller skate. Or should I say I loved it as a little girl. It's been quite a few years since I have put on a pair of skates but I would imagine it's like riding a bike? This is the kind of positivity I need in my life right here. I recently discovered a particular restaurant that many always talked about that rhymes with schmipotle. I had literally never set foot inside of one until recently and I am hooked! That is right up my alley.

If you know of someone looking for a job, there is a job fair taking place in Odessa next Wednesday November 17th. As you can see on the sign, they are hiring in the oil and gas industry and for several other positions.
