It wouldn't be HALLOWEEN without 'It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown'.It's a classic and it seems to bring back childhood memories for every generation. The classic animated Halloween-themed PEANUTS special, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, will air WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31 7:00pm here locally on ABC Big 2.  In the 1966 animated special It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, The PEANUTS gang celebrates Halloween, with Linus hoping that, finally, he will be visited by The Great Pumpkin, while Charlie Brown is invited to a Halloween party. I remember watching this when I was a kid feeling bad for Charlie Brown because all he kept getting while trick or treating is a rock. So mark your calenders and hit up your DVR's or TIVO's now for Halloween night on ABC. Especially, if you have a kid who never has seen it. Do them a favor and show them a classic.
