Kenny in concert

I realize I work for a hip-hop station but I have very diverse musical interests. You would be surprised at the different types of music I listen to, especially country. Come on, it's West  Texas, who doesn't love country?

 So after tonight I can cross one more thing off my bucket list. I got to see Kenny Rogers in concert at the Wagner Noel. Yes it was a great concert, no, he looks nothing like he used to. But despite his new face, the man can still sing! You can bet I was singing along to Lady, The Gambler and Islands in the Stream (I sang Dolly's part with him, he just didn't know it.) He spoke to the audience between songs, cracked jokes, was dressed in jeans and a button-down shirt, untucked, had a better tan than I do and totally lived up to his 'legend' status. I treated my momma to a night with one of her favorites of all time and it was well worth it!
