Recently a mass vaccination clinic took place at Ratliff Stadium in which employees from Medical Center Hospital worked tirelessly to see to it that all who wanted to be vaccinated could be. We had our friend Crystal in from the Midland Community Theater this morning to talk about the stuffed animal project. MCT is looking for volunteers to help make stuffed animals for children in the foster care system. If you have some extra time on your hands, many of us do right now, you can pick up one of these do-it-yourself kits.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Permian Basin is looking for some new mentors. If you believe you have what it takes to become a friend, a role model, someone a young person can look up to and learn from then you are encouraged to consider becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister through this program.

Volunteers are wanted for the Crisis Intervention Unit with the Midland County Sheriff's Office. The C.I.U. is training for new volunteers to begin January of 2019. This particular unit is the only civilian unit called out to the scene of a crime to support Law Enforcement and victims.

The Special Olympics Spring Games are fast approaching and your help is needed! Special Olympics athletes have been preparing and are excited and ready for the games, so the community is asked to help in a big way.
