Ever since 1878, Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas has been a hub for music, dancing, and having a grand ol’ time.

Announcement, after announcement of music venues closing their doors for good started popping up all over North Texas.

There are milestone birthdays in every young person's life. Those double digits are a big deal. Wow, 10 years old! Then the day you hit 13 and become a teenager its the best thing but 15 is huge for young ladies dreaming about their quinceanera since they were small girls and sweet 16 even better because you're old enough for a cool party and also to drive legally for the first time.

It is wedding season! No doubt happy couples looking forward to walking down the aisle are busy planning for their special day. As a matter of fact, I received a save the date just the other day and was thrilled to find out where the wedding will take place. I visit the Alamo City alot. I have family there that I get to visit often #1 and because obviously there is far more to do there #2. I love the city, I love the atmosphere, it's big but to me has a small town feel. Weird but true. One of the restaurants we frequent, as a mother of 3, is one called Chicken n Pickle. We were there just a couple of weekends ago! We need one of these here in the 432.

I am telling you right now I love, love, love the fact that we were graced with the presence of our friends and neighbors, the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center almost 10 years ago! I have seen everyone from Foreigner, to Kenny Rogers, to Olivia Newton-John, to Jo Koy, Shopkins LIVE! and countless other shows that include tribute bands and even my little one's first ever dance recital.
