Things to Do

Being in but slightly removed from Texas, gives us tons of cool and unique things to see, do and experience.

Depending on how you look at it, El Chuco is either dead last or best of the best.

West Texas may seem quiet, but it’s actually bursting with surprises—like a world-class observatory that’s been unlocking the secrets of the universe since 1933.

Texas has anything and everything you could possibly want. A strong economy, lots of room to grow, plenty to see and do - the list goes on. You can experience just about any climate or setting you want and never leave Texas.

Tripadvisor recently ranked the top 10 things to do here both in El Chuco and all over Texas. I agree they're all fun places to visit, and they're all free, but my own list would look a little different.

Get into the spirit of the season by visiting Oklahoma's wildest Christmas Light Display. It's an amazing drive-through and walk-through holiday experience with lights and more.

Gotta be a little creative, but there's plenty to do in our area during spring break.

Now that spring is here, it has definitely brought us some April showers. This week for sure, we are expecting rain until this time next week actually. We have at the very least a 20% chance of showers everyday this week and I am here for it! How does the saying go? 'April showers bring May flowers...' Then I better get to planting.

From the sounds of it, this rain is going nowhere anytime soon! The forecast calls for rain through Friday, which would be ok if I were indoors for the rest of the week, in a comfortable pair of sweatpants, covered up with a blankie, snacks and chillin' in front of the tv....but since that's NOT going to happen, I decided to come up with a list of things to do anyway....
