Things to Do

Gotta be a little creative, but there's plenty to do in our area during spring break.

Now that spring is here, it has definitely brought us some April showers. This week for sure, we are expecting rain until this time next week actually. We have at the very least a 20% chance of showers everyday this week and I am here for it! How does the saying go? 'April showers bring May flowers...' Then I better get to planting.

From the sounds of it, this rain is going nowhere anytime soon! The forecast calls for rain through Friday, which would be ok if I were indoors for the rest of the week, in a comfortable pair of sweatpants, covered up with a blankie, snacks and chillin' in front of the tv....but since that's NOT going to happen, I decided to come up with a list of things to do anyway....

We've made it halfway through the week!!! If you're like me, you're already making your weekend plans! Let me save you some time and let you know some of the things that are happening.

It is Spring Break time! This week several area schools are out for Spring Break while several other surrounding areas are out next week. Other than the Christmas break, this is what students look forward to the most! So the question is, what are you doing or plan to do depending on when your Spring Break is....

It's the holiday season and sometimes you just need a break from the rush or if you have family and friends coming to town, you need ways to entertain them.

I grew up in Midland/Odessa. Not just Midland and not just Odessa. My mom lived in Midland growing up and my Dad lived in Odessa. I went to OHS and MHS. I bled Red and White AND Purple and Gold.
