Texas things

Only in Texas at Christmas. I saw this the other night and thought to myself, no one outside of Texas gets to experience the beauty of this sight and that is sad. A beautifully decorated, completely lit up pump jack baby! Oh yeah!

We are in our own little world sometimes aren't we? There are Texans...and then there is everyone else in the country! A friend of mine sent me this picture and I had a good laugh. This person wanted it known that they are from TX, don't let the California license plate fool ya!

It's a Texas thing, you wouldn't understand...how many times have we uttered that phrase to friends, family or acquaintances that have never been to our great state? Thanks to the movies, non-Texans think we ride horses to work, we all wear cowboy hats and boots and all live on farms and raise animals. lol
