Let me start by saying in my defense, I got my pool in the middle of the pandemic. I was homeschooling my kiddos, they needed something to do for 'P.E.' and I needed them out of my hair for a couple of hours a day. Not to mention everyone had the exact same idea in 2020 so the fact that we actually found 1 on store shelves felt like a sign from the pool gods.

Traditions. Many of us have them. There are birthday traditions, whether you have the exact same birthday cake every year, or eat at your favorite restaurant every single year. Or maybe your family celebrates Thanksgiving and Christmas every year with the same friends or family. Of late, I have to say I have seen more and more Halloween traditions.

The Fadduol, Cluff, Hardy and Conaway Law Offices will be having their 1st annual backpack giveaway this Saturday, August 8th at 1931 E. 37th St. in Odessa. 400 backpacks will be given away along with supplies beginning at 9:00 a.m.

School is back in session and we couldn't be happier right parents? How did the clothes shopping, backpacks, lunch boxes and school supplies go? Not as smoothly as we would like I'm sure. Isn't there always that one thing that is near impossible to find?

It's the first day of August which means school will be back in session soon! Time to start shopping for new clothes and school supplies. I remember the most exciting thing for me as far as back to school shopping goes was picking out a backpack and lunchbox.
