sick

So in case you couldn't tell when you listen to Leo & Rebecca in the Morning on the radio in the mornings, I've been sick. Started out small, a little cough, sniffles, etc...then it turned into the flu and that was NO JOKE! That stuff knocked me on my butt for a few days and with the help of some antibiotics, chicken noodle soup and lots of liquids, I'm on the road to recovery...

Current sitch in our house unfortunately! I'm sure many other households are dealing with the same thing and I feel you, it's not fun. In the last couple of days, I have equipped myself because I have a little 4 year old and an 11 year old who are having trouble sleeping at night, so I need some help from other momma's!

Monday got me like NOPE! Wow, apparently a 'summer cold' has hit the building and I've had to start with the Lysol! Two coworkers were sick last week, then Leo, then our 'webguy' and the list has grown. O-M-G I'm just hoping I don't get it! Mocos stay away from me!

Who grabs an onion and puts it on her nightstand when someone tells her it will help her get over her sickness? This girl that's who! Is anyone else this gullible? Unfortunately, my daughter and I were sick over the Thanksgiving holiday and while having a convo with my cousin, she suggested an onion to help us get well.

Oh the joys of being a parent! Never a dull moment and I had a moment lastnight that only parents will understand. First of all I discovered my 2 year old can projectile vomit, gross I know. But not having had a toddler in a few years, I had forgotten how it is when little ones are sick....
